Being stuck in our Covid-19 lockdown means many of us are coming up with all sorts of creative ways to entertain ourselves and our furry family members. Not everybody is super crafty but here's a super easy dog treat DIY that your dog will love you for.
Our team member, Hannah, took on the task to test these frozen dog treats out and I think it's fair to say it was a success! Will your dog love them as much as her dog Oakey did? Here's the recipe:
Ingredients
1/2 cup peanut butter (as natural as possible! Watch out for Xylitol which is toxic to dogs).
1 cooked and mashed carrot, apple, or pumpkin (or a mix)
Method
All you need to do is mix the ingredients together (stick them in a blender if you have one), spoon into a mold/ice cube tray, freeze, and they're done! How easy is that?
